This week in writing, we are teaching about Writer's Workshop procedures and expectations. Writer's Workshop is the part of each day when the teacher starts by teaching a mini lesson about a writing skill, then students have time to work independently on their own repertoire of writing pieces. The teacher will confer with students one-on-one, and in small groups; and students will have opportunities to peer-edit writing pieces and share with the class.
