This week, we are learning about our local and state governments, and how voting and the election process works!
This week, we are learning about celebrations, customs and symbols! We will learn about the 4th of July, the White House, the Liberty Bell, the Statue of Liberty, and the US Flag.
This week in Social Studies we are learning more about communities and how to get around places using maps! We will learn what a map is and how to use one. We will focus on the cardinal directions and how to use a compass rose to tell which direction we need to go on a map!
